NEW ZEALAND: Intimate apparel is the most desirable gift for Kiwi girls

WELLINGTON: In a recent Bendon Desirability Survey, it has been revealed that lingerie is top of most Kiwi women’s Christmas wish lists. Intimate apparel took out the vote as the most desired gift with 57% choosing lingerie over other gifts including perfume, flowers, manicures and foot massagers.

The survey also exposed that Kiwi girls are in dire need of lingerie as the most common reason, at 29%, for buying new underwear was that their underwear had worn out and developed holes.

Other popular gifts that Kiwi women desired included having the house cleaned, a sleep in, a candlelit dinner and a childless weekend away.

Only 5% of respondents admitted buying lingerie to ‘spice up their sex lives’ with 31% claiming the g-string was the underwear that guys found most appealing on them. This was followed by bikini briefs at 20% and no underwear at all at 16%. But beware; the worst lingerie crime was overwhelmingly identified as the g-string showing over the top of pants.
