UNITED STATES: Nordstrom to Open First Tennesse Store at the Mall

Seattle-based Nordstrom, Inc., a leading fashion specialty retailer, announced it has signed a letter of intent with the Davis Street Land Company to open a new Nordstrom store at The Mall at Green Hills in Nashville, Tenn. The three-level, 149,000-square-foot store is scheduled to open in fall 2010 and marks the first Nordstrom in the state.

"We are thrilled to make our debut in Tennessee at this extraordinary location," said Erik Nordstrom, president of stores for Nordstrom. "The Mall at Green Hills is a premier shopping destination and we look forward to serving our customers in Nashville and in surrounding areas."

The Mall at Green Hills currently contains 735,000 square feet of retail area anchored by Macy's and Dillard's. The shopping center currently features over 100 unique retailers and restaurants including Tiffany & Co., Louis Vuitton, BCBG MAXAZRIA, Lacoste, Cole Haan, Brooks Brothers, The Cheesecake Factory, Stuart Weitzman, Apple Store, Betsey Johnson, J. Crew and Bebe. New stores opening in 2008 include Burberry, Juicy Couture and Kate Spade.

The Mall at Green Hills is located in Nashville, Tennessee at 2126 Abbott Martin Road and is owned, leased and managed by Davis Street Land Company. Davis Street Land Company is a privately-held real estate company focused on the ownership and development of upscale specialty and lifestyle centers.
